Trevor Price

Trevor was born in Cornwall and studied fine art/printmaking at Falmouth and Winchester Schools of Art. At the age of 28 he was elected an associate member of the Royal Society of Painter Printmakers and is currently Vice President of the Society. He divides his time between London and Cornwall.

Trevor describes himself as an artist/printmaker, and not just an artist. He was drawn to printmaking by the fine craftsmanship involved and sculptural qualities that cannot be achieved by painting or drawing alone. Most of his figurative prints are drypoints of one form or another, usually on zinc or perspex.

His work usually represents the intimacy between a couple, sometimes romantic, sometimes erotic and often humorous.
