The painting itself measures 32.5×32.5cm and the overall size (including the frame) measures approximately 54×54.5cm.
“The shapes, colours and textures within this painting were inspired by the disintegrating remains of two shipwrecks on the North Cornwall coast. The intriguing glimpses of a wreck deeply embedded in the golden sand of Booby’s Bay only appear once every few years. Pieces of oxidised metal scattered on rocks and shingle can be seen through the water in the Camel Estuary.”
